Moment's Notice (previously The Malvern Jazz Sextet) is an offshoot of the Big Band and plays a range of music from hard bop, latin, swing and standards including compositions by Miles Davis, Dave Brubeck, Herbie Hancock, Cannonball Adderley and many more. The line up is often augmented with a special guest vocalist. Moment's Notice are:

Robin Miller (trumpet & flugelhorn) | Mike Halliday (alto & tenor sax)
Peter Bailiht (guitar) | Kate Hill (piano)
Dave Etheridge (bass) | Jody Hoare (drums)
