Welcome to the MALVERN JAZZ website, the home of The Malvern Big Band as well as an offshoot from the band, Moment's Notice. Click on the links to find out more about each band, or to view the latest gigs to find out where we are playing

The Malvern Big Band was formed in 2000 by local musicians, Mike Halliday and Chris Lewis. The band line-up of 5 saxes, 4 trumpets, 4 trombones, and 4 piece rhythm section play a wide range of Big Band jazz, but with an emphasis on contemporary British and American arrangers. The Big Band is augmented with top jazz vocalist, Kirsten Winter.

The Big Band has played at a wide number of venues in the Worcestershire and Midlands area since its formation, including Malvern Theatre, Ledbury Market Theatre, Evesham Arts Centre, Pershore No. 8 Arts Centre and many others.
